Shipping from Spain, Italy or France to Romania

Sellers from Spain, Italy and France usually come to us for the same reason: an EPR question arrived from a marketplace, a Romanian B2B customer or an advisor, and the national registration at home clearly does not answer it. It does not — Romanian producer responsibility is a separate national obligation with its own register, its own scheme and a monthly reporting cycle.

Typical situations we handle

  • A webshop that has been shipping to Romania for a year or two and has never registered here.
  • A brand entering Romania deliberately and wanting the compliance in place before the first campaign.
  • A seller blocked or warned by a marketplace over a missing EPR number for Romania.
  • A group with a pan-EU provider whose contract turns out to exclude Romania.

What the process looks like

  1. 1
    Free written assessment

You send products and rough volumes for Romania; we return the obligations that apply and the exposure for past periods.

  2. 2
    Mandate and registration

We sign the representative mandate and complete the Romanian registration.

  3. 3
    Scheme contract

Your recycling targets are transferred to a licensed Romanian organisation.

  4. 4
    Monthly cycle

One file from you per month; calculation, filing, payment amount and deadlines from us.

Working language

Everything on your side happens in English: assessment, mandate, monthly exchanges. The Romanian filings and any authority correspondence are handled by us in Romanian.

Frequently asked questions

Doesn't the EU single market mean one registration is enough?
No. The EU sets the framework, but registers, schemes and contributions are national. Selling into six countries means six registrations — which is precisely what the PPWR keeps in place.
We sell through a Romanian fulfilment centre. Does that change anything?
It changes the logistics, not the producer status. The packaging that reaches the Romanian consumer is yours to declare unless a written arrangement moves that duty to another party.
How quickly can we be compliant?
Once we have the product data and the signed mandate, registration and the scheme contract are a matter of days to a few weeks depending on the stream, and we file from the first available reporting month.
